1999: Gettysburg: A Legacy of Courage
The Cadets began the 1999 season with great enthusiasm. The show created for that year was entitled "Gettysburg: A Legacy of Courage" and promised to be another memorable performance. "Gettysburg" was a big success and moved the audience to tears at most of the shows. Although the Cadets were not able to place above 2nd that season, they kept the intensity level up and battled at State to win their 2nd State Championship, as well as the caption awards for Best Musical Presentation and Best Visual Presentation.

2000: American Heroes of the Twentieth Century
After the depth and character of the 1999 show, the expectations were quite high for the 2000 season. The show entitled "American Heroes of the Twentieth Century" focused on general groups of people that helped shape the twentieth century. With high expectations, the Cadets delivered another unforgettable season and won all five shows on the schedule, including their 3rd State Championship and their 4th straight Best Music award at the Championship competition.

2001: Under African Skies
With the arrival of West's new band director, Mr. Daniel Duffy, the Cadets once again reigned supreme in 2001. The 2001 production entitled "Under African Skies" was an original show written by West's former Band Director, Rick Kirby. The show displayed the both the power of the Cadets as well as their gentleness through the diverse musical arrangements. The color guard also got to be a part of the musical action in the percussion feature by being tribe members and playing hand drums. The Cadets won all of the field show** competitions in 2001, including the 2001 Class AAAA WSMA State Marching Band Championship, and picked up several caption awards along the way. The 2001 State Championship was the third consecutive championship won by the Cadets, and their fourth overall. The Cadets also won their fifth consecutive Best Music Award at the State Championship. The Cadets also received the award for Best Percussion.

2002: The American Game
After winning three straight state championships, all eyes were focused on the Cadets to see what 2002 would bring. The Cadets did what they always do and just concentrated on delievering the best performance they could every time out. The opening set of a giant baseball diamond gave the Cadets an ominous presence right out of the gate. "The American Game" once again gave the Cadets a chance to show off every aspect of the band. The Cadets delievered a great performance at the State Championships and finished in second place with the Best Percussion Award, and their 6th consecutive Best Music Title.
