Performing in daylight at UW-Whitewater was a new experience for the Cadets of Waukesha West... Staging an AMAZING performance of this year's show "Origins and Transformations" took place right on cue!
The Cadets completed their 2011 performance season with a fantastic performance at UW-Whitewater on October 15. The drum majors were clear and concise, the winds performed with power and passion, the percussion performed with style and precision, and the guard performed with confidence, elegance, and beauty. The entire production was a wonderful journey from start to finish! When it was all said and done, the judges rewarded the band with a first division rating, the caption award for best musical presentation, and a 2nd place finish in class Quad A.
Congratulations to the hard working, talented, and dedicated Cadets of Waukesha West for all of your contributions towards our successful achievement of excellence in performance. What an exciting and well-performed show you produced this year!
Special thanks to all Waukesha West parents for your wonderful support and assistance this season, and to the students and parents of surrounding communities for your special support as well. Our students hear you cheering for them in the stands, and appreciate the bond of support which has developed over the years.
