Cadets Purchase Scissors Lift!
July 09, 2008

Thanks to the generosity of many families and friends, the Cadets of Waukesha West recently purchased a scissors lift for the marching band.

The machine is a Skyjack 4626 built in 2000. The number "4626" refers to its 46 inch wide deck and a 26 foot high platform. It is a machine which utilizes a battery powered electric drive system and a hydraulic lift.

The machine is being purchased from Milwaukee High Lift located on Wilmot Drive in Waukesha. Milwaukee High Lift is a well-established business serving the construction industry and individual customers through a wide vareity of lift sales and rentals. We will maintain a relationship with Milwaukee High Lift through annual inspections and routine maintainence on our machine.

Special thanks to everyone who donated funds towards the purchase of this needed item, and to the Participants of the Janssen & Company Biker Blast 2008 for your contributions. We have raised approximately $5125 thus far. Donations are still being accepted in an effort to help us get closer to the actual purchase price. If you have not yet contributed and would like to do so, please make checks payable to Waukesha West bands and mail to:
