Band Camp 2007: A Huge Success!

The Cadets of Waukesha West 2007 Band Camp came to an end with an excellent early season performance of "Espiritu de Espana" to a crowd of over 500 Cadet enthusiasts at West High School Thursday evening.

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all students, staff, and parent volunteers who worked hard to achieve another very success Waukesha West Band Camp. West continues to demonstrate an outstanding partnership between students, staff, and parent volunteers. This partnership has played a major role in helping to establish our previous, current, and future success.

Now that the foundation for our 2007 show is in place, we must continue to build on it. The remaining summer rehearsal dates are:

Wednesday Aug. 8
Wednesday Aug. 15
Wednesday Aug. 22
Tuesday Aug. 28
Full band rehearsal from 6 - 9 PM. (New marching members start at 5:30 PM)

In addition to the 4 full band rehearsals listed above, the West Color Guard will also practice on the following dates in August:

Monday Aug. 13
Monday Aug.20
Monday Aug. 27
Color Guard rehearsals run from 6 - 9 PM at West.

Congratulations on all of your achievements over the past 8 days of rehearsals. The combined efforts of everyone involved has resulted in outstanding group achievement.

Be sure to continue practicing at home to improve the memorization process, and to help keep the Cadets of Waukesha West on the road to excellence in performance.
